One of the most popular in the area, Mineral Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the months of May through October. They typically have 30 vendors every weekend who offer a variety of goods. Whether you’re looking to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables or handcrafted artisan products, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for and more here. In the summer season, you can also experience their curbside mini market that is open every Tuesday and features a handful of the vendors that are there on the weekends. Miller Farms Market is the epitome of shopping local, as they take pride in providing products that start in their fields and end on your table. One of the largest in the region, the Spotsylvania Farmers Market has two locations with over 40 vendors. Their Saturday Market – on Route 3 in the Gordon Rd Commuter Lot – runs from April to December between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Their Wednesday Market – at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center – takes place in May through September from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. They also have a Winter Market that runs every second Saturday in January, February and March from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Their vendors are comprised of a variety of sellers from local farmers to small business owners.
