Shop Local at Outdoor Markets

Not To Be Missed Around Lake Anna

By Kelsey Thomas

Lake Anna’s beautiful atmosphere and welcoming community make it easy to stay outdoors, especially when there are local farmers markets in the open air that are close by, open year-round and offer fresh finds and handmade products.

Shop local at these special outdoor markets:
Mineral Farmer’s Market
81 Louisa Ave, Mineral, VA 23117
One of the most popular in the area, Mineral Farmer’s Market is open every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the months of May through October. They typically have 30 vendors every weekend who offer a variety of goods. Whether you’re looking to purchase locally grown fruits and vegetables or handcrafted artisan products, you’re bound to find what you’re looking for and more here. In the summer season, you can also experience their curbside mini market that is open every Tuesday and features a handful of the vendors that are there on the weekends. They even have a Winter Market that runs from January to April on every first and third Saturday, so don’t think you have to be here during peak season to shop local.
