Lake Anna is located in the heart of central Virginia, a region full of rich history from key founding fathers to significant battles and sites. Throughout 2026 and beyond, the area will host a number of activities celebrating the birth of our nation 250 years ago with the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. VA250 is the program behind many of the 250th celebrations happening in the Commonwealth highlighting Virginia’s involvement in the American Revolution and Revolutionary War.
