Thrill seekers will love Kings Dominion as one of the East Coast’s largest collections of adrenaline-pumping roller coasters. Among the 12 coasters is Twisted Timbers, a hybrid roller coaster combining steel and wood to create a breathtaking experience. Twisted Timbers is the first of its kind in the mid-Atlantic. Intimidator 305 is one of the tallest and fastest coasters on the East Coast. Plummet 90 miles per hour down an 80-degree angle on this hair-raising ride.

For a more relaxing experience, float along the lazy river or relax under a cabana. Once you’ve had enough fun in the water, dry off on a high-speed roller coaster.

Kings Dominion is home to a number of seasonal events and more that bring a range of experiences to the park.
When summer ends, a new season of fun begins with our immersive Halloween events. During the day, the little ones can enjoy the Great Pumpkin Fest at Planet Snoopy for scare-free fall fun. When darkness descends upon the park, fear rises as hundreds of monsters take over the park for Halloween Haunt. The bloodcurdling horror and nightmarish madness of Halloween Haunt entails more than 400 monsters roaming the midways. Brave guests will venture through mazes and outdoor scare zones and enjoy frightfully fun live shows all free with park admission.
The holiday season comes to life at Kings Dominion’s WinterFest! The park is magically transformed into a winter wonderland full of enchantment and holiday cheer with millions of lights, festive shows, activities and even a 300-foot tall Christmas tree!
