Spring Bloom Adventure Race
Make a team or go solo and have a blast during our annual Spring Bloom Adventure Race this year in and around beautiful Lake Anna State Park. If you love being outdoors, paddling, hiking or biking trails, getting off the sidewalks, then this is the event for you. Get out just as the flowers and trees are blossoming as this year we will have both 4-hour and a 10-hour race options so whether you are an adventure racing newcomer or looking for a full day of outdoor adventure we’ve got you covered, either way you finish on a beautiful beachside.
Originally the site of the Goodwin Gold Mine (where gold was first discovered in 1829), Lake Anna State Park opened in 1983 with over 3,200 acres including a beach, fishing piers, 17+ miles of trails, hundreds of acres of largely untouched wilderness, and 11 miles of shoreline access to the 13,000+ acre lake.
Whether you are new to adventure racing, introducing friends/family to it, or a seasoned vet looking to warm up and kick off that winter ice/rust, our Spring Bloom Adventure Race is here for you.
