The Fredericksburg Greek Festival is set for Saturday, Oct. 5, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, from noon to 4 p.m. at Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, 12326 Spotswood Furnace Road, in Spotsylvania County.
For more than 30 years, the annual Fredericksburg Greek Festival has drawn huge crowds of people who enjoy delicious, authentic Greek food favorites, lively music, and celebration.
The festival menu includes souvlaki, pastichio, mousaka, lamb, spanakopita, gyros, Greek fries, loukoumades, baklava sundaes, and more. A variety of Greek beer, wines, and ouzo will also be available for attendees 21 or older.
Also on hand at the festival will be a variety of craftsmen, artisans and Greek food vendors, selling items such as handmade jewelry and glassware, imported Greek olives, olive oil, and giftware.
The Fredericksburg Greek Festival is operated by the Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Church, which is open for tours throughout the festival.
The festival will be held at the church, 4 miles west of Interstate 95 exit 130 and across from Riverbend High School.
The Fredericksburg Greek Festival is also held each spring.
