Casting lines and making memories! Come celebrate Father’s Day at our inaugural Fly Fishing & Bourbon event on Saturday June 22nd from 11:00-4:00 p.m. in collaboration with Beau Beasley, author of Fly Fishing Virginia and Fly Fishing the Mid-Atlantic, and Director of the Virginia Fly Fishing & Wine Festival. Beau will be speaking about his newest book Healing Waters: Veterans Stories of Recovery in Their Own Words.
Whether you are a seasoned angler or new to the sport, this event promises the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Discover the artistry of fly fishing with our variety of vendors showcasing artwork, demonstrations, accessories, and techniques. Learn about local organizations as well as mingle with fellow enthusiasts.
After perusing our vendors, take a tour of Virginia’s oldest and most award-winning distillery with complimentary tastings. Tours will be offered on the ½ hour, and our tasting bar will be open all day. Don’t miss out on this unique fusion of outdoor passion and fine spirits! Admission and parking are free. We will have Preacher Dave’s BBQ on site.
