Sept. 3: End of Summer Jam

Come on over to the Lake Anna Winery for the End of Summer Jam and listen to great tunes from Richmond Sensations “Spectrum”.  Food from “Fire Escape Food Truck” will again satisfy your hunger needs.  What a way to end the summer. 

Sept. 3: Culpeper’s First Professional Rodeo

Identity Culpeper presents Culpeper’s First Professional Rodeo by True Grit Rodeo Company. Gates open at 4pm., rodeo at 6pm.

Sept. 10: Orange Street Festival

Spend the day in historic downtown Orange on Saturday, Sept.10 during the Orange Street Festival. This free event is perfect for the whole family. Sept. 16-17: Wild Roots Music Festival

Introducing the Wild Roots Music Festival, the newest music festival to the Fredericksburg area. Listen to regional and national bands and musicians at this outdoor festival located at the Wilderness Presidential Resort. In addition to a full day of live music, attendees can also visit the craft beer garden, enjoy gourmet food trucks and take part in family-friendly activities.

Sept. 23-Oct. 2: State Fair of Virginia

Head to Doswell for the State Fair of Virginia, a tradition since 1854. This family-friendly event features Virginia’s best animals and agriculture, as well as exhibits, shows, music, arts and crafts, competitions and more. Featured shows include Chinese acrobats, a drum band, stunt circus, Heritage Village Music series and more.
