December 7: Louisa County Christmas Festival & Parade

Celebrate the holiday season in Louisa County with the annual Christmas Festival & Parade. This free, family-friendly event will take place Saturday, Dec. 7 in front of the Louisa County Courthouse. The day kicks off with a craft festival at 10 a.m. and the parade at noon. The theme for this year’s event is “Christmas Red, White and Blue,” so come wearing your most patriotic outfit.

December 7: Spotsylvania Christmas Parade

Also on Saturday, Dec. 7 is the 41st Annual Christmas Parade in the Spotsylvania Historic District. Presented by the Spotsylvania Parks and Recreation Department, the theme of this year’s event will be “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.”

December 8: Spotsylvania Christmas Luminary

The Marshall Center in Spotsylvania lights up with the glow of candles during the Spotsylvania Christmas Luminary on Sunday, Dec. 8. Dress warmly and bring your blankets for this outdoor celebration featuring choirs performing live music.
