Aug. 3: Sonder Music Festival

Aug. 10–11: Spotsy Art Festival

Celebrate Spotsylvania’s art heritage at the Spotsy Art Festival. This two-day event, located in front of the Spotsylvania Courthouse, will feature over 75 artists and artisans showcasing their works. There will be a variety of mediums on display, including glass, mixed media, jewelry, painting and pottery. Friends of Cedar Mountain Battlefield will host the Cedar Mountain Battlefield 157th Anniversary. Experience a battle commemoration and living history display at Cedar Mountain Battlefield—the site of Culpeper’s bloodiest battle during the Civil War. This historic event is free and open to all ages. There will be several immersive activities that are not only educational but entertaining.

Celebrate all Labor Day weekend at Tim’s at Lake Anna. The restaurant will host a Pig Roast Friday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 2. Enjoy a meal on the expansive outdoor patio as you say farewell to the summer season. Live entertainment will be performing all weekend long.
