Mineral Farmer’s Market
The Mineral Farmer’s Market, now in its 11th season, features about 30 vendors every Saturday, from May through October, on Louisa Avenue in Mineral. Products at the market are grown by area farmers that are proud to sell their fruits, vegetables, meat, eggs, honey, herbs and more. Every Tuesday during the summer season, you can also experience the curbside mini market that features some of the Mineral Farmer’s Market’s vendors, including Peninsula Farm, Honey Man, Miz Mary, KatSue and Mother Fudgery.
Spotsylvania Farmers Market
The largest farmers market in the region, the Spotsylvania Farmers Market has two locations near Lake Anna. Browse over 50 vendors selling locally produced food and plants at the market. Visit the Gordon Road location, Saturdays from April through December, or the market at the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center, Wednesdays from May through September. Offerings at the market change seasonally to reflect the bounty from local growers and producers.
Miller Farms Market
Head to Locust Grove for the Miller Farms Market, Monday through Saturday year-round. This market brings the produce right from the farm’s fields to market shoppers. Miller Farms Market is part of a community supported agriculture (CSA). A CSA is an agreement between farmers and consumers to provide produce at a set price. At the market, you can find everything from beef, chicken and pork to fruits, vegetables, cheeses, flowers and much more.
