Louisa County Restaurant Week

From Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 15, try a new restaurant or return to an old favorite during Louisa County Restaurant Week. Participating restaurants will feature multiple-course meals from a prix-fixe menu. The area’s local chefs have created innovative menus that highlight their culinary creations and the tastes of the area.

Louisa County Restaurant Week is a great way to kick off the upcoming spring season when you visit Lake Anna.

Louisa County Restaurant Week Participating Restaurants

Ten local restaurants are set to participate in Louisa County Restaurant Week. These restaurants range from barbecue and seafood to Italian, pizza and more. Many of these restaurants will offer a lunch and dinner option. For every meal purchased during restaurant week, $1 will be donated to the Louisa County Resource Council.

Here are some of the restaurant offerings available during Louisa County Restaurant Week:

Callie Pie’s Orchard will offer a dinner option, with your choice of salmon or sirloin, for $19.50.

Enjoy a $25 three-course meal, Wednesday through Sunday, at Obrigado Restaurant.

Take 20 percent off four-course meals and three-course meals at Prospect Hill Plantation Inn.

Tim’s at Lake Anna and The Cove at Lake Anna will both offer discounted menus for restaurant week.

If the weather allows for it, enjoy your meal outside! The Cove at Lake Anna and Tim’s at Lake Anna overlook the lake, providing a beautiful, waterfront meal to accompany your restaurant week menu. Both restaurants serve traditional American fare and fresh seafood.

Aug. 3: Sonder Music Festival

Enjoy a day of live music at the Sonder Music Festival in Fredericksburg. Sonder is “the realization that every passerby is living a life as complex and vivid as your own.” The free music festival aims to unite Fredericksburg through a day of music, games, food, laughter and fun.

Aug. 10–11: Spotsy Art Festival

Celebrate Spotsylvania’s art heritage at the Spotsy Art Festival. This two-day event, located in front of the Spotsylvania Courthouse, will feature over 75 artists and artisans showcasing their works. There will be a variety of mediums on display, including glass, mixed media, jewelry, painting and pottery. Bring the whole family for kid-friendly activities and grab a bite from one of the many food trucks that will be on site.

Aug. 10–11: Cedar Mountain Battlefield Anniversary

Friends of Cedar Mountain Battlefield will host the Cedar Mountain Battlefield 157th Anniversary. Experience a battle commemoration and living history display at Cedar Mountain Battlefield—the site of Culpeper’s bloodiest battle during the Civil War. This historic event is free and open to all ages. There will be several immersive activities that are not only educational but entertaining.

Aug. 30: Labor Day Weekend Pig Roast

Celebrate all Labor Day weekend at Tim’s at Lake Anna. The restaurant will host a Pig Roast Friday, Aug. 30 through Monday, Sept. 2. Enjoy a meal on the expansive outdoor patio as you say farewell to the summer season. Live entertainment will be performing all weekend long.

Aug. 31: Taste of the Mountains Main Street Festival

Dive into Central Virginia’s dining scene at the 27th Annual Taste of the Mountains Main Street Festival. Sample regional foods from area restaurants, food trucks, churches and other organizations. In addition to the food, the festival will also showcase arts and crafts, live music and vendors. This family-friendly event will have plenty for all ages, including pony rides, magic shows, face painting and more for the kids.

July 3: Country Americana Festival

Kick off the Fourth of July holiday with wine and live music at the Country Americana Festival at Lake Anna Winery. Enjoy performances from two different bands throughout the day. Food will be available for purchase, and there will also be craft vendors on site. Stick around after dark for the firework showcase.

July 3–7: Independence Day Week

Celebrate Independence Day all week long at Small Country Campground’s Independence Day Week. Spend the long weekend on a camping trip and enjoy all of the patriotic and fun activities the campground has to offer. Play games, ride a firetruck and listen to a live band on Saturday night. Don’t forget the firework show at the end of the night.

July 6: LACA’s 22nd Annual Fireworks Display

Locals and visitors alike will love the Lake Anna Civic Association’s free, public firework display. This spectacular show will be produced by Zambelli Fireworks and is choreographed to music.

July 26–27: Louisa County Agricultural Fair

The Louisa County Agricultural Fair is a traditional agricultural fair. While there won’t be any carnival rides, guests of all ages will love the animals, games, food, entertainment and more. Other events include equipment demonstrations and displays, judged exhibits, pig races and an antique tractor show.

July 28: Liberty Mills Farm Summer Fest

Celebrate the sights and sounds of summer at Liberty Mills Farm’s Summer Fest. Pick your own flowers by the bucket or bouquet. Enjoy fresh summer fruits, including cantaloupes and watermelon. The festival will also feature games, competitions, hot dogs and more family-friendly activities.
